If I Could Marry This Stroller, I WOULD!

I am taking a couple of trips and needed to purchase an umbrella stroller. I love my Uppababy Vista and hoped I would have the same admiration for the 2011 G-Luxe stroller. I just picked it up today and I am BLOWN away. I put my little one in the stroller and pushed it around the house. The manuveorability is incredible and the cushions are super comfy. I lowered the back of the stroller to see what my little one thought of lying down. She FELL ASLEEP, because it was sooo comfortable! There are so many extras on this stroller. If I had to criticize it, I would say that the basket could be a tad bigger. It will fit a TON of stuff but I am really going to have to jam by diaper bag in there. Can’t complain though … this one is a keeper. PS – I was worried that the handles grips wouldn’t be high enough for us but they are great for tall people. This one is a TOTAL WINNER. You won’t be disappointed.

I’m very disappointed! I had great hope that UPPAbaby was the type of company that stood behind their products. It’s clear that there is a major design flaw. The very thing that is supposed to secure the baby, namely the harness, becomes the weakest link because it’s attached by drilling a hole in a structural tube. This tube is prone to failure in this exact spot. If safety is an issue, don’t buy this stroller. UPPAbaby customer service couldn’t care less.
